Conservation, stripped of politics—that's a cornerstone I've clung to throughout my journey as a writer. Life's rich tapestry, woven from diverse backgrounds, has revealed a universal thread: our bond with nature. It doesn't matter if your sanctuary is the forest, ocean, mountains, desert, or the Arctic; nature is our shared refuge, offering peace and healing. The pace at which we're decimating our planet is devastating. Driving through any town, memories of childhood play in forests or flower fields are replaced by the sight of concrete apartment buildings and shopping centers. This loss is felt by everyone, the everyday person, as we witness the cost of human expansion on our natural world. I'm convinced that many of our physical and mental health issues stem from environmental pollution and a severance from our natural origins.
The leap into the digital age and AI threatens to widen this gap further. My ambition is to harness this era, through my writing, to keep us tethered to nature, our primal source of life. Our 500-acre park in Tennessee is just the beginning; we're branching out across the U.S., establishing more forest conservation habitats. Each book sold fuels these endeavors. Furthermore, we're launching comprehensive tree planting initiatives in the spring of 2025. My deepest wish is for my readers to fall in love with my stories. But beyond that, I want them to hold my books with a sense of pride, knowing they're contributing to saving our crucial forest habitats—not just for our sake, but for the wildlife and the health of our planet.
